I can imagine why you're sticking to gnome... I look after a bunch of red hat style VMs for people that have IDEs on them, and gnome is the standard, and I keep apologizing over and over to my teammat...

I feel like gnome is very polarizing. You either really love it or you really hate it. I'm one of those people who really loves it, but I've definitely talked to a lot of people who absolutely cannot stand it.

The other environment I like is Cinnamon, but even they have some accessibility issues with screen reader. Like the applications like the file manager and stuff like that seem to work properly. But then the shell itself that has like the taskbar and the menu and stuff like that does not work.

I absolutely cannot stand it. ๐Ÿ˜… I'm a KDE Plasma fan. Love it. I can't imagine to use something else. Even a tiling WM, at the end of customizing Hyprland or Niri I will get bad working KDE Plasma made of crutches, lol. So, I prefer KDE Plasma and other KDE software, like: https://apps.kde.org/...
