icons would give them an identity, allow people to remember them. they would allow relays with special features to stand out visually in listings.

Japanese relay icons are also cool (Japanese flags, lanterns & (pirate?) ship).

Ya unfortunately, (or not), amethyst was the first to support relay icons, but used favicons.. and now I'm screwed having to deploy one of these dumb zip favicon generator things with apple and Android and 5 different formats for all the browsers 😭😂😅 I want to make this a feature for relay...

maybe favicons could then be used by clients who want :) ^^ btw, not proposing a NIP
