A US-wide wealth tax is one of the few things that would make me seriously consider moving away from the land I grew up on, built my business on and want to raise my kids on.

It is an existential threat.

Ironically, if I do choose to leave, guess what?

In a perfect world they could create a wealth tax and remove income taxes. But we know it doesn't work like that, they don't remove taxes unless you're already got the wealth
