Why is it that gaming for 12 hours straight is perceived as worse than binge watching tv for 12 hours straight? I’d argue that gaming is much more mentally challenging. Thoughts?

It’s worse because gaming you’re more likely closer to the device to game as for binge watching tv you’re further from the screen meaning less of a effect.

Assuming one plays "mobile" games? Can also assume one binge-watches on a Mobile device? Then screen distance (and EMS) have the same impact?

“Don’t sit too close to the TV or it’ll hurt your eyes,” was just what parents said to get kids out of the way so they could see the damn screen. 😆
