Wisconsin residents: we have a primary on August 11, where we will be selecting the Democratic candidate for Governor.

My recommendation is that you mark your calendar & take time out of your day on August 11 to vote for Francesca Hong, the Democratic Socialist candidate in this race.

I don't believe in the idea we can vote ourselves into a just society, but I think Hong could actually do some good as governor, not just be the "least terrible" choice.

There are no guarantees. Don't hang your hopes on politicians. We must save ourselves. Only collective action can bring capitalism to its knees, BUT the state government decides things like how your taxes get spent, whether corporations are held accountable for the damage they do, etc. So it seems ...
