So Dashjr’s picking Bitcoin’s new mining algorithm with a Testnet4 dice roll today. Quick catch up. BIP-110 needed 55% of miners signaling for it. Got 2.56%. Two blocks mined on the fork and then it just stalled out. So now the move is a proof of work change. Watch Testnet4 Show more

datum users mine on their own block templates, 95%+ of hashrate on OCEAN uses datum the OCEAN default template was announced to signal for 110 prior to the split (flipping bit4). The confusion during the split was which chaintip that template chose to mine on. some thought it would have been signal...
