You live in a society where we're all prepared to pay good money for someone else to make us a fine meal, it will be the highlight of your day, and you might post about it on Instagram, but you're also encouraged to believe that service economy jobs are essentially a class-based social obligation and asking to be paid a living wage for doing them is the most unseemly form of greed.
