@dtonon

Working on Gossip, Coracle, Njump and other inspiring nostr projects. I love to build helpful things that people are pleased to use, mixing tech, design, usability and accessibility.

I agree, this should be a trend for all Nostr apps, possibly with an opt-in mechanism if the app wants to start with a minimal UI.

Interesting!
It would be nice to update the readme with some details about the implementation.

Happy to see your like Fevela!
For now I'm planning some more tools to explore personal and community feeds.
I also miss the convenience of an integrated DM area, but I don't know if Fevela is the right place to put it; I would like to promote a Nostr ecosystem with more specialized applications, rather than a “super app” that contains everything.

Maybe a temporary network issue?
It's just a static file, so the server should not have any problem with the load.

> We've entered an era where solving your own problems is cheaper than complaining about them

One may not like AI for development, but this is absolutely true.
The positive aspect is that a personal tool does not need to solve other people's problems or be perfectly polished. And perhaps this can also spark curiosity about development, so that over time the “lines of code I have written” increase a little :)
Nice article.

I could simply sort by score, descending, but I don't want to give too much credit to relevance systems. Since the feed is already compacted, I think it's good that users are forced to scroll a bit and encounter some random results.
In addition, read and interact with new/low-score notes is necessary to surface their real potential, so they should not be penalized.

Fevela update: sort by relevance.

An experimental option is now available that sorts notes from a single author by relevance rather than publication time, displaying the most active note at the top.
The relevance score is calculated taking in consideration reactions, reposts, replies and zap with a simple algorithm*, and the value is displayed near the note, so the user can easily catch the most interesting notes also across all the authors.

The feed order is still chronological.

All feedback is welcome!

* The current algorithm is:
reactionsCount + repostsCount * 3 + repliesCount * 4 + zappedSats / 10
