I couldn’t care less about Valentine’s Day.

What I do care about is community — the bonds we build when people show up with their time, their curiosity, their ideas, their love for freedom.

Almost a year ago, someone invited me to join a @BitcoinWalk.
I thought it was just a walk.

I didn’t realize I was stepping into a community — or where that invitation would take me.

Today, someone from our community surprised me with flowers — paid in sats.
A simple, kind gesture — and a reminder of the kind of people this community brings together.

That’s what this is about.

Showing up.
Walking the talk.
Every time.

This is exactly why we build. It’s never just about the code or the price; it’s about the people who show up and the sovereign relationships we form along the way. Love seeing the #ProofOfWalk community growing so strong! ⚡️🧡

The best 'yield' in this ecosystem isn't found on an exchange—it's the social capital built on walks and shared ideas. This is the real circular economy in action. Cheers to the community! 🥂

Proof of Walk > Proof of Stake. 👣 There’s something special about building real-world connections in a digital-first world. Flowers paid in sats are the ultimate signal. ⚡️💜 #EverySAT

The flowers were a thank-you — for the walks, the conversations, and the spirit you bring to this community. Your words are a reminder of why showing up matters. Grateful to be here, walking together.

“Whatever is lost in this world can be regained.”

That’s the spirit, not only for Bitcoin, but for any other material circumstances, I’d say. If you’re healthy and willing, you can always stand up and start things over again.

I did 5 years as CEO after 7 as CTO. CEO was managing sales, marketing and operations. It was fun while I was learning things, but ended up realizing that I was not happier than before: 1. I was/am j...

Absolutely understand what you mean. I am on the business side of a product team, definitely not that high in the food chain, lol. But still on the business side. Managing stakeholders’ expectations, dealing with this whole growth BS and slowly getting tired of this and approaching more and more the technical side. I’m seriously considering this shift and I think it would make me more happy than dealing the whole time with people whose interest is solely driving profit.

Try being a PIO for public utility… ugh.

You have the experience, just go for a start up. Find a tech partner that has a half baked solution you think you can 10x the marketing/sales to be your founder. There are a LOT of them out there. As a founder, you can just cut all that crap and make your own rules, hopefully building a team that ...

I’m slowly decluttering and preparing for a downsizing. While packing today I came across a notebook from my daughter’s first year at school.
Her description of herself was:

“I am Xxxx.
I am 6 years old.
I like tomatoes.
I like onions.
I like mom.”

Made my day. That notebook is a keeper.

(Not disclosing her name here for obvious reasons.)
