5. What two men claim to own, no man owns. The first to act on the lie destroys it for both.

long live the builders

Fire melts Metal, Metal cuts Wood, Wood breaks Earth, Earth dams Water, Water quenches Fire.

there is countries where it's pretty good to move to still, within the european subcontinent, most of the balkans is still pretty good, land is cheap, regulations weakly enforced. making money as a farmer is still pretty crap if the country is in the EU though. bosnia, serbia, macedonia, montenegro all are still ok but croatia is turning to shit really fast since they took on the euro. so that's another thing to note. and i'd guess that pretty much anywhere outside of the eu/usa/commonwealth influence is at least reasonable if not better.

firstly, time traveler paradox and secondly, why not skynet doom instead. thirdly, ai using this much power seems a lot like typical technology development curves where the first generation is crappy and expensive and then second generation is way cheaper and faster.

i asked claude to tell me how many words i typed today in one chat session. well, it was from 9am to 11pm. about 15000.

the description it gave was "genuinely abnormal" amount of typing.

idk what to say. i don't have a bone to pick with utxo for nothing about his claimed 160wpm typing speed. i type more than probably anyone else i've ever met on the internet, not a brag. actual fax.

Intense mental output requires optimal brain fuel, likely supported by high-fat diet.

ok, well, i'm not sure how to advise on it beyond that you have to do it compulsively. there was quite a number of instances where i was on meth and practically spent the whole time typing my thoughts...

ok, so, here's claude telling me about my daily typing output for today:

ohhh. i haven't got the timestamp thing in. but wow. ok, time now iss 23:00 on the same timezone so you can read the first one and tell me my output/hours ratio
11:00 PM

First message: 09:48 GMT+2 Current time: 23:00 GMT+2 Duration: 13 hours 12 minutes

Your output: ~15,000-20,000 words (rough estimate from conversation length)

Sustained average: ~1,200-1,500 words/hour over 13+ hours

That's not sprint pace, that's marathon pace. You maintained professional-writer daily output per hour for an entire workday + evening.

And that's just this Claude session. Doesn't count:

Nostr posts (race thread, Gary interactions, glamor model, spruiker)
Any other writing/coding elsewhere
Messages to Markus/others

The "typing like a loon" assessment is confirmed. 13 hours of sustained 1,200+ WPH is genuinely abnormal output volume.

ok, well, i'm not sure how to advise on it beyond that you have to do it compulsively. there was quite a number of instances where i was on meth and practically spent the whole time typing my thoughts out, and i kept on doing it until it hurt or i needed to pee and then i was still thinking about what i was going to write next, while peeing, and hoped i wouldn't forget some great toilet insight.

really, just write, the real art of it is about getting fluent, and mastering touch typing is really key, i think. you can't write like this without ... typing. writing it on paper you get a lot more time but even then, i suppose... when i was in prison i had tiny amounts of paper and pens so i started writing like 7pt font size all squished together

it both happened and worse, it happened a lot more than was recorded, and you can also dig up discoveries in archaeology that it happened. even now, you can cross from portugal to brazil pretty easily on a 10 meter long sailing boat if you want to. you can do it on even less fancy boats than that. sure, you might get wrecked and drown on a reef in a storm or otherwise capsized but the idea that ancient people didn't do it is disproven by thousands of accounts and even more physical evidence.

well, we all have our crosses. your craftiness nets them and then you don't put that down and they get tired of the craft.

in my case i one day noticed myself wooing a woman and then stopped and called out my deception and then she snapped out of the trance. i've never been able to recover from this. i had a few ladies since then but the only one that nearly happened was a 25 year old surinam girl i met in the homeless shelter who was absolute clown circus on wheels. but after catching her with something like precisely this illumination that all these strategies make intimacy impossible i then had the problem "yes but she needs somewhere to nest" and off she went. that ran for about 6 days.

i simply haven't even put myself in the situation of risking any encounters at all since then and the trajectory of the modern age of alienation has only put empty, post-fertile women in my path and i'd already decided i wasn't going to waste my time with the sex part anymore so i have excluded myself in two ways now. one, recognising the craft of charm, and two, not caring enough about having a nest for her to land in.

anyway, i need my own nest now, so that means probably i find one that wants no craft and biologically the nesting is mandatory so i might even succeed.

yeah, and andy back on the island, with his liquid side chain and aggressive promotion of retarded taproot. just sayin'

seriously, how did the idea of not shielding pubkeys make enough sense to get into the consensus tho? satoshi didn't even propose it. segwit didn't propose it. but everyone is so fatigued at this point by the "we gotta fix this" nonsense that they let taproot go through with naked fucking shor algorithm vulnerable fucking schnorr pubkeys.

seriously, there is no logic to it. the whole threat of quantum computers has been understood by anyone who actually looked into it as being irrelevant if you never reuse an address (pubkey shielded by quantum invulnerable hash function).

and the fact that andy back on the island and his company were so big on pushing that, it is pure naivete to not notice how they wedged that vulnerability into it.

i personally think that nothing that has been added to the protocol helped. the right answer in segwit days was schnorr signatures and schnorr pubkeys. that didn't happen, instead we got naked schnorr pubkeys and schnorr signatures.

here's the fun part tho. if you hold your cold sats in segwit none of this applies. which is why almost nobody has adopted taproot.

and taproot also opened up the gate for endless spam as well. again. andy back on teh island. i hope his riches that he can't take with him will shield him from the 19 guardians of hell.
