After giving up my smartphone, I found that the camera was one of the things I really missed. Especially on the Pixel phone, the camera does a great job of taking a wide range of shooting situations and making a good photo out of them. However, it's very algorithmic, it tends to make photos that look a specific way. It's more work to turn out a good photo on my ancient Sony α but it comes out the way I want. #photography #NewMexico

I went down to Silver City Cycles and got Dave to sell me a bike. I just took my first ride and it was a blast! I used to commute by bike but that was 25 years ago and my skills have atrophied. I figured, since I like to run, it wouldn't be that strenuous to ride a bike... Haha... My quads in particular are burning. I bet tomorrow's run is going to be "different".
