Crazy to think this was 19 years ago today. I remember being a junior in high school when this happened. I remember thinking the city of Boston acted completely retarded over it and still do. The ad campaign was actually better than the movie though. Aqua Teen Hunger Force : Colon Movie film for theaters kinda sucked. The newer movie that came out back in 2020 was a huge improvement though.

Today I learned when you update Mikrotik's Router OS it does not update the Routerboard firmware with it. I've been having to reboot my router almost daily sometimes multiple times a day in the past few weeks.Turns out my Routerboard bootloader was still using the factory 7.8 firmware which is 2+ years old. I thought it updated with upgrading routerOS but I guess it doesn't. Hoping now that I got it to the latest firmware it will have bug fixes for stability issues and I can finally have some peace and not deal with people I'm living with flipping out when the internet stops randomly working because of a router firmware issue.

After some headaches I finally got Batman Arkham Asylum ( non-GoTY ) to work on Steam. I had the game years ago. For some retarded reason Valve removed the CD key for the game in the properties. And to insult it has a securom validation server that no longer works. I had to get a pirated launcher and dll file and another dll file to bypass all the securom checks and then use a CD key from Street Fighter 4 to activate the game because it used Gen 1 GFWL DRM and not the later SSA keys.

I did get a kick out of the modded .dll file being named whysosrs.dll though

@nprofile1q... I saw some of my games already on GOG had linux installer files and I remember the company showing open contempt for modern windows. I think with GOG and Steam onboard with Linux the OS will start becoming a lot better in the coming years for gamers. Games are a huge incentive to get people to adopt it which means better drivers , support , and software.

And now I have Tetris Effect: Connected Steam version done. Gotten the game 100% done on both Steam and Xbox.
