fun DNS anomaly today: crazy spike of elevated activity that lasted for ~18h. Normal spikes are much shorter and correspond to random surges; this smells like some large resolver had caching problems.

interestingly enough, looking at the graph on ns-global.zone, they experienced some change in activity patterns around the same time.

sometimes 802.11 is good. i’ve been streaming audio through export PULSE_SERVER=192.168.252.47:1337 all evening and didn’t have a single dropout. it’s neat

(ROC streaming is better but i couldn’t be bothered to set it up on void)
