Yes, Elon LARPs as a rebel who is fighting the existing system. But he is probably the greatest beneficiary from the existing system. I suppose that is the reason why he has been muddying the waters about Bitcoin and money for many years.

It would be a horrible scenario for Elon, if people understood that he is dreaming of a technocracy where normal people do not have any rights.

But I have to give him one thing – Elon is excellent at creating narratives. People cannot afford houses, but somehow he has managed to make them dream about 'occupying Mars'.
