We just watched a showing at the Roxie Theater tonight and now I'll have the soundtrack stuck in my head for the next week or two.

@nprofile1q... moderate weather (outdoors and in), so I don't think that's the issue. These shoes are older, but generally shoes last me for years so these aren't unusually old or anything like that. We did move to a new place when these troubles started. I can't see how that would cause this, but that is one thing that strongly corresponds with the shoes falling apart like this (one per month since we've been here).

I'm wondering how much pressure a yo-yoer puts on a string when doing tricks, but I'm not sure how best to test that. Any suggestions?

I'm asking because I've started putting small fishing swivels on my #yoyo string and I'm hoping I'm using a strong enough swivel. The swivels I'm using are safe up to 50lbs.
