And 'Many people are unable to tolerate even a minor disagreement on semantics without being absolutely enraged about it.' reads like people who are upset about that are loosers because sponsoring a fascist party is not a big deal. Or how should that be read?

@nprofile1q... Fascism is not about politics. It's about denying fundamental human rights. Your statement is just a very good demonstration that being "unpolitical" actually means tolerating hate and prosecution of minorities which makes you part of the rise of authoritarianism.

I don't know how I feel about that. It was always my favourite go-to alternative to Calendly.

What I also don't get is that they are releasing a Cal.diy source code side by side with less business features. Is that not threatened by AI?

Or is it just a business move to earn more money in the end?

The new German #socialmedia platform wedium started it's beta access this week. It sees itself as an European alternative to the big tech social media platforms, specifically since the Trump administration took over last year, and stands against hate speech.

To secure that, you have to identify with your passport.

Ah, and they are closed source.

Why not federate? Because Trump used Mastodon's code for Truth Social.

So it's a walled-garden with ID check.
