If you have any amount of your time and value parked into #bitcoin , you need to watch this video and act. This OP_Return shit that core devs are trying to pull has the potential to nuke #bitcoin as we know it.

I’ve been HODLing #bitcoin for many years but this shit presents very serious issues for my conviction in the #bitcoin network if #knots doesn’t overtake #core very soon.

100kb is enough space for the most heinous and unspeakable images, video, or audio to be immutably recorded onto the most pristine blockchain on earth. If we, as the #bitcoin community allow this to happen because people are too lazy and complacent to spin up a node and run #knots , then we never deserved #bitcoin at all.

This attack vector is sneaky and it could be detrimental, don’t just think everything will be fine…run #knots
and rise to the occasion. It will require all of us.

CALL TO ACTION:

I hope everyone here on #nostr recognizes the importance of operating your own #bitcoin full node.

It’s getting more and more dire to run a node using #knots and not #core.

#bitcoin is the best money mankind has ever devised and it is (and always will be) up to us plebs to protect it.

Bitcoin core devs are state captured, they do not have our interest in mind. They are proposing to increase the OP_Return data limit from ~83 bytes to 100KB. This is a massive concern for anyone using the #bitcoin network to store value and/or utilize as a sovereign monetary peer-to-peer network.

The state will not relinquish control over the fiat hamster wheel easily, and it seems they have found an attack vector via the centralized software implementation of bitcoin core for individual node runners.

There was nothing wrong with bitcoin core until somewhat recently, but the devs have been compromised and are now making filter changes (not consensus rule changes, the filter configuration changes they are making don’t require a hard or soft fork) that have the potential to destroy private bitcoin nodes. Without nodes, there is no decentralization.

There are plenty of resources to get a node set up using knots. Run a node, use bitcoin knots, stack sats, stay free.

The higher the fiat price of #bitcoin , the more right I am with the normies who refuse(d) to listen.

I’m all for prices to stay low for as long as possible, but the being right seems so tantalizingly close.

So can anyone please riddle me why after this EO in the US and so many other bullish macros that #bitcoin's price is still terrestrial and not orbiting Neptune right now? Just curious 🤨

Being artificially suppressed 🤷 consider it a blessing and just keep stacking. It's very temporary in the medium term.

Also retail are alseep. It seems to take 100+% moves to wake up the FOMO of the uneducated. Apparently these 50% moves are a yawn fest. Plus I can’t help but think, lots of retail got their fingers burnt in the last cycle. Once bitten, twice shy. FOMO is not here yet… there was a little in Nov/D...

Because the same guys ushering in the transition are the ones keeping it low to onboard/save as many people as possible. But, people are so dumb and weak minded, they can't adapt. Nurtured the nature right out of themselves by cucking to the State too long. Not they don't know how to save themselv...

#Bitcoin How To Recover Your Bitcoin If Trezor or Ledger Goes Bankrupt https://m.primal.net/KnoO.mp4

This was an awesome video. Thank you for your time and effort. I use a Trezor because I’ve been listening/watching your content since back when you recommended them. I have systemized my storage and recovery process and it would be a hard process to change and to have loved ones re-learn. I look forward to the video that explains the recovery process when having a passphrase. Thanks again, Matt.
