I may steal the wrapping idea! My other nest boxes are milk crates but sometimes they kick the eggs through the holes.
They fit great inside the bags then I just fold it in.
I pick up a bunch of leaf bags from places that have weeds in the lawn in the fall to use for winter bedding. By spring I have enough material for a compost pile.
