This grafted tree produced a few large Shinko pear with no maintenance over the last year. They are quite tasty and crisp.

I use it frequently to do frozen steak and then sear it in a hot pan.

So far, so good.

Busy man! You’re a motivation for me to get in gear as soon as the weather warms a bit.

Cool! Over the last couple years I’ve been grafting various edible European and Asian scions onto the “invasive” Bradford pear trees that have sprung up all over.

Do you have pictures of the completed bioreactor? How is is doing now and how much has it decreased in volume?

Have you followed the work of David the Good? He is a permaculturist who did a lot of work in Florida. He has a lot of ideas such as “grocery row gardening” and other concepts. Stefan Sobkowiak’s permaculture orchard is a good resource. I have some fruit trees but haven’t planted an orchard or food forest so I don’t have a lot of experience to share. Keep us posted!
