The fact that a lot of people came here to escape from endless politics discussions because they are tired of them, and that allowing them to engage with them consensually at will when they have the energy allows for better mental health overall, while not completely cutting them off from what is happening around them.

I find it very interesting how in English you have separate words for fairness and for justice, and they don't mean the same thing, and can in fact be in conflict with each other. Really makes you think.

I like video games as a concept, but I don't really enjoy actually playing them that much anymore. I think something happened to my attention span, or the ability to focus, or just curiosity, that made it very difficult to "get into" a game. Add to that my motion sickness for any first person perspective game, and my complete inability to play any reflex-based games, and it's mostly just old roguelikes and turn-based strategies for me, but in short sessions. Maybe I should get back to Angband?
