Many marketing guides I’ve read recently have talked about mailing lists being very effective. Is this true? Do really people want more email?

I only ever sign up for the ones like “we’ll send you 1 email when our thing launches, and maybe 1 more when we announce a new thing in the future, but that’s it”.

(Limiting this one to Mastodon because I trust you people more.)

Does this sound like a video game? Interesting? Worthwhile? Anything offputting?

Might still change the name. It has a bit of teflon on it. Not much, but a bit.

Noticed a game naming “genre” that I enjoy: word pairings that don’t make immediate sense. Blue Prince, Devil Daggers, Silksong, Falling Frontier, Rocket League, Nuclear Throne….

Forms a little puzzle: "why would a prince have a colour?" Fun to think about, anticipate, and solve. A game!
