This war was not planned by Trump or the US military at all.

This is exactly how it went down:

"Imagine the hero you would be to Christian Americans if you single handedly 'saved their chosenites' and 'did the bidding of their savior'?" Trump thought to himself "oh my God I would be the greatest president who ever lived".

Trump went to the military and asked them how much time they thought it would take to strike Iran. They gave him a window of probably '2 weeks' so he told them to do it. When asked how long the war would last, the generals would have told him exactly the same thing that the Japanese admirals told Tojo, "we can raise hell with the Iranians for one month, then after that there are no guarantees". Trump knew the Israeli's predicted the war would be over in [2 weeks] so that was a non-issue.

Into the war (((2 weeks))) the Israelis and US had no idea that leveling the Iranian government effectively meant nothing because the people aren't taking the bait. They hate their government but they hate the West more. Now Israel and Trump have no idea what to do as jews are getting pummeled in a war Iran has been drooling over for years.
