Today, as we mark 250 years since the birth of this nation, it is worth pausing for a moment, not only for celebration, but for reflection.
It is easy to forget the “why” behind what our founders risked everything for. They were not simply arguing over tea, taxes, or firearms. They were making an irreversible stand, knowing full well they were signing what amounted to death warrants. At the core of it all was a single enduring idea. Power must have limits and liberty must be protected not only for themselves but for generations they would never meet.
History has always turned on that same axis, what we choose to preserve for the future. The grievances they laid against a king were never only about the moment they lived in. They were about ensuring that no future generation would inherit unchecked authority or the quiet erosion of rights.
So today, as you gather with family, share a meal, and watch the sky light up in celebration, take a moment to think beyond the festivities.
Ask yourself honestly whether government, local, state, or federal, has stayed within the boundaries intended or has drifted beyond them.
If your answer is no, then it makes sense to continue on the same path. But if you believe overreach exists, then responsibility does not end at opinion, it extends to action. Engagement matters in every election, at every level, because leadership only changes when participation is consistent and intentional.
Freedom is not maintained by celebration alone. It is maintained by vigilance, by involvement, and by the willingness to act when something feels off.
Enjoy the Fourth of July. Enjoy the food, the company, and the fireworks (hope you set some off no matter if they are legal or illegal)
And if you want the next 250 years to reflect the same spirit of liberty this nation was founded on, you already know the part you play.
I don't know if I will run for Board of Selectmen this year. I would need to pull paperwork tomorrow and gather the necessary signatures by Tuesday to be on the ballot.
I just continue to pray for guidance... Pray for a sign that screams for me to help my town, to protect my town from the absurdity of the tax and spend.
Lord, tell me what you want me to do.
As a life long Buffalo Bills fan, I think Bitcoiners should team up to buy the team, fire GM Beane and bring back McDermott.
Back in 2008, I knew that I would end up working everyday for my life while living in an degrading manner. I bought gold and silver and listened to, ugh... Peter schiff. I did find bitcoin in the beginning, but like most others, wrote it off because I didn't understand it.
I returned to Bitcoin in 2017 and haven't looked back. I buy bitcoin with every paycheck, and I make sizable purchases when I can. I bought a sizeable amount at 110k. Am I concerned? Heck No. I go about my day, continue working for my paycheck, but I now know I will be able to rest later on in life.
If you're concerned about price, don't be. Find a good book, or podcast. Go to church or whatever your faith has and be at peace. We are part of something greater than most know. Once THEY find OUT, WE will enjoy the fireworks.
