As Meahcore borrowed the ideas from Reticulum and reduced them for radio only I would like to see how a larger Reticulum radio mesh performs. I think we have to wait that microRwticulum supports more common boards and lowers the entry barrier in general.
Meshtastic and Meshcore are the popular ones with easy entry. Reticulum with RNodes the gold standard but with a much higher entry barrier, though it has got much lower with Columba on Android and MeshchatX on desktop recently. Read the Zen of Reticulum to understand why we need these networks and what for.
Mark has not disappeared. He is still advancing #Reticulum, he just stopped to develop and discuss in public Github repo. He is still delivering: - Recently: Auto discovery for bootstrapping - Yesterday: Utility for git in Reticulum and much more. He still cares for his baby, and we Reticulum enthusiasts are happy he does.
