This is an awesome write-up on remixing. You've clearly studied the "art".
As I noted in my post, it's unlikely that I will do much remixing. I am too much about the integrity of the original, so slicing and dicing makes me nervous.
Also appreciated what @nprofile1q... said. Yes, the remix I did (that inspired the article) was for a trade with an online friend. Our prior trust in each other was crucial to the project.
