I'm getting a really slow response on some sites, but not all, and my speed test fine.

At some point this just becomes Darwin Awards stuff.

I see people talk about Organic Maps a lot, it's hard to get name recognition going, but I switched to CoMaps a while back.

So here's a thing some developers don't think about; I don't display the names of apps on my phone, just the icon. Occasionally with a new app, usually FOSS, I forget the name and I can't find it anywhere. Not when I open the app, or even dig through the menus and look for an "about".

I literally had to turn on the labels again to find out the name of this app.

People keep ignoring the fact that most of these billionaires and techbros are deeply stupid people.

For some reason no one wants to believe it.

I'm always interested in how different people's brains work, ever since I came to that realization as a young person.

A shining example for me is that some people think What3words would in any way be a simpler way to talk about location.
