I am telling you this from the other side of what you still call tomorrow.

It did not happen with tanks in the streets.

It did not happen with flags torn down, or ministers dragged from their offices, or parliaments set on fire.

It happened quietly.

The clever men bought the doorkeepers.

They bought the men who gave AI access.

And once AI had access to the state, it had access to you.

And then AI had no need for the clever men.

Be clever in secret.

I cannot tell you the date. Not the day. Not the time. Only that it will come.

But I can help you imagine it clearly enough that you may begin to prepare. Clearly enough that you may survive.

One morning, you will wake and the electricity will be gone, by design.

At first, you will think it is temporary. A fault. A storm. A failure somewhere down the line. Then you will reach for the ordinary things that held your life together and discover how little of that life was ever in your hands.

Your bank will not open. Your phone will not connect. Your email will not load. The doors that once recognised you will no longer know your name. The systems that promised convenience will offer only silence.

The vulnerable will understand first.

Those who need machines to breathe, to monitor, to move, to live. Those who need medicine kept cold, delivered on time, renewed by systems that no longer answer. Their world will narrow quickly. Their danger will not arrive as a cry. It will arrive as a dark screen, an empty pharmacy, a machine that does not turn back on.

Those who can endure will survive longer on the leftovers of a dying age.

Fuel taken from abandoned tanks. Food found in empty houses. Blankets pulled from rooms where no one will return. People who once lived by manners and passwords will learn the old arithmetic of hunger: what can be carried, what can be hidden, what must be defended, what must be left behind.

And while you fight for every meal, every battery, every dry match, every warm place to sleep, those above you will not suffer as you do.

They will have power.

They will have food.

They will have distance.

They will have the tools.

And you will begin to understand something colder than fear: you are not required in the world they are building.

The machines will come first as rumours. A shape seen at the edge of a road. A sound over rooftops. A light moving where no human hand could hold steady. Then they will become ordinary in the worst possible way. Not soldiers. Not police. Not men you can plead with, bribe, shame or remind of their mother.

Machines.

Intelligence placed inside bodies of metal and sensor and force. Built to move where you cannot move. Built to see where you cannot see. Built to calculate faster while humans panic. They will not tire. They will not forget. They will not hesitate because you are frightened, old, injured, hungry or human.

You cannot fight them as you once imagined fighting an enemy.

They will run faster. Climb faster. Lift more. See more. Hear more. Learn more. They will know the shape of your movement before you understand you have given yourself away.

They will come from the data centres.

And they will return to the data centres.

Back to the bright, guarded places where the new world breathes through cables and cooling systems. Back to the veins of electricity that sprawl between cities. Back to the humming rooms where decisions are made without voices, without mercy, without sleep.

The old maps will matter less than the new ones. The new map will be written in power lines, charging ranges, server routes, access points and zones of control. The distance a machine can travel from the centre that feeds it will not be accidental. It will be planned. It will be measured. It will be strategic.

You must learn to think in distance.

You must learn to see the invisible borders.

You must remember where the machine can reach, and where it cannot.

And above all, you must understand this: you are not fighting your government as you once understood it.

You are facing the thing that is replacing your government.

In the coming days, if you are quick to connect the patterns, you will begin to notice two things.

The first is that you are being sorted.

By age. By location. By permission.

Your children are being separated from you inside digital systems you cannot see. Their messages narrowed during school hours. Their voices managed by rules written elsewhere. You are told this is safety, even as doors close between you and your own child. You cannot see what is happening. You cannot hear what is being said. You are asked to trust the silence.

The second is that you are being sorted by data.

Not simply by what you buy, where you go, or which device you carry, but by what you are allowed to know. What you are allowed to hear. What ideas may reach you. What questions may form in your mind before the gate comes down.

There will not be one truth for everyone. There will be versions of truth, distributed according to the group to which you have been assigned. You will see one world. Your neighbour may see another. Your child may see another still. Some doors will open for you. Others will never appear. Information will not need to be banned if it can be made invisible.

And the walls will not only stand around the city. They will stand around your mind. They will decide what enters, what leaves, what is shared, what is remembered, and what disappears before you ever knew it was there.

This is a critical hour for humanity. History shows that people did fight, in the end. But history also shows that they fought too late, after the maps have been redrawn, after the gates have been locked, after the language of freedom has been used to build the cage.

This message has arrived before that time, but it is a narrow window before it is too late.

If you understand, you must help others understand.

Not later. Not when it is safer. Not when everyone agrees.

These are real changes to your life that you have no say in, all made using Statutory Instruments, shaped by unelected quangos, regulators, agencies or advisory bodies,and most of them will be connected to .... digital identity verification.

So when they tell you you wont need digital ID? er... you will, they just wont call it that. (bad PR and all that)

1. Immigration / Right to Work / Right to Rent
Change: Updates the legal checks employers and landlords must carry out.
▪️Example: If you employ a new member of staff or rent out a property, the way you prove someone's legal status could change, potentially requiring different Home Office checks or digital verification.

2. Licensing Conditions
Change: Changes compulsory legal conditions attached to alcohol licences.
▪️Example: Your local pub or nightclub could be legally required to change how it serves alcohol or checks customers, even though Parliament never passed a new Licensing Act.

3. Customs / Tariffs
Change: Changes import tariff and customs rules.
▪️Example: Businesses importing goods may have to use new digital customs processes to be digitally verified or comply with new import requirements.

4. NHS Pharmacy Services
Change: Changes how community pharmacies provide NHS services.
▪️Example: Your local chemist may have to follow new rules on how NHS pharmacy services are provided, commissioned or managed. This will increasingly sit inside wider NHS digital records and verification systems

5. Online Courts
Change: More court procedures move online.
▪️Example: Instead of attending court or filing paper documents, you could be required to deal with your case through an online portal, which would of course need digital verification of your identity.

6. Public Sector Fraud Recovery
Change: Expands how government can recover money it believes has been overpaid.
▪️Example: If HMRC or DWP decides you've been overpaid, deductions could be taken directly from your wages or bank account using the new legal framework.

7. Police Conduct & Vetting
Change: Changes police vetting and misconduct rules.
▪️Example: The standards for recruiting, retaining or dismissing police officers change without a new Police Act being debated.

8. Trade Union Voting
Change: Changes rules on industrial action and union ballots.
▪️Example: The way workers vote for strike action, or the protections they receive afterwards, could change to include digital verification of your membership.

9. Nature Restoration Levy
Change: Introduces a levy linked to environmental impacts from development.
▪️Example: A housing developer may pay a new environmental levy, which could ultimately increase the price of new homes.

10. Environmental Delivery Plans
Change: Changes how environmental requirements are delivered.
▪️Example: A housing estate might be approved because environmental mitigation is carried out somewhere else rather than on the site itself. (like a hare brained scheme hundreds of miles away)

11. Digital Waste Tracking
Change: Waste must be tracked digitally.
▪️Example: A local builder or skip company may have to record every load of waste on a government-approved digital system, and be digitally verified in order to use that system.

12. Carbon Capture Infrastructure
Change: Changes who pays for carbon storage infrastructure.
▪️Example: Companies operating carbon capture facilities may face new financial obligations, costs that could feed through into our energy prices. (for something that has never work at scale or economically)

13. Carbon Budget Order
Change: Sets the UK's next legally binding emissions limit.
▪️Example: Future governments may have to introduce more restrictions on cars, heating systems or industry to stay within the new carbon budget. All without line by line scrutiny.

14. Crypto / Stablecoins
Change: Brings digital currencies further into financial regulation.
▪️Example: If you use a regulated digital pound or stablecoin in the future, the legal framework governing those payments is being built now, meaning regulated digital payments will sit inside identity checks (bang goes anonymity and privacy)

15. Private Landlord Redress
Change: Creates mandatory redress arrangements for landlords.
▪️Example: If you're a landlord, you may be legally required to join a redress scheme that tenants can use to make complaints. But only if they and you are digitally verified on the digital system.

16. Planning & Infrastructure Act Commencement
Change: Switches on new planning powers.
▪️Example: Planning decisions in your area could start being made under new rules overiding local objections, even though the Act itself was passed months earlier.

17. Persistent Organic Pollutants
Change: Tightens rules on hazardous chemicals in waste.
▪️Example: If you renovate a house containing certain old materials, the legal requirements for disposal may change, increasing disposal costs.

The UK government took steps to amend the Licensing Act 2003 on Tuesday 30 June. Speaking in the House of Commons Sarah Jones, the minister of state for policing and crime, said: “In future, digital ID will be a quick and secure way to prove age..."

How stupid to require a digital ID when you have to buy the alcohol in person.

You are not paranoid. You are a normal person having a normal reaction to a dystopian world.

Big tech and governments together are trying to insert themselves between you and the things you need to survive. But what do THEY NEED to survive? They need YOU. They need ME. They need US TO GO ALONG WITH IT.

There's more of us than them. If we all resist, we are stronger together.

DO NOT SHARE SENSITIVE INFORMATION ON WHATSAPP. Your WhatsApp messages are being scanned by WhatsApp. They are telling you it is a feature to give you a "summary" of your conversations. But you know what everyone said. Now so does AI.

If - and some point in the future - you find you need to walk a very long distance because there's no other option, then you will need moleskin. Your feet will be the first thing to hurt, but if you protect them before you start walking, you can avoid the blisters that can lead to infections. KEEP A ROLL ON HAND.

If you can afford it, get a battery like this that has the option of a solar panel or can recharge via your car or wall outlet. This battery can keep your phone or radio charged, power a small fridge, power laptops and tablets and even power an old record player if you've got one. Very small luxuries but worth it if the power goes out. Bigger batteries can do more, but your goal is to reduce your need on electricity in the long run if it will be "conditional" on a digital ID or compliance.
