Hello Nostr. Meet Certania: https://certania.com/about-us

This nice German company has been buying testing houses all over the world, across almost every sector of life.

What do they do?

They own laboratories that verify test results: from soil and water to blood tests and almost everything under the sun. Sounds innocent enough, until you look at the parent company.

You’ve heard of BlackRock. But have you heard of Greenpeak? Of course not. They like to stay in the background. They buy companies, but do not necessarily change the names, so you cannot easily see the monopoly they are building over testing houses.

Why does it matter? Why should you care?

Because testing houses are often treated as the final word on truth.

Here is an example. Imagine people in a small town near a fracking project start getting sick. They suspect contamination in the water. But when a Certania-owned company tests the water, it could, if it wanted to, protect the corporations and investors connected to that project instead of giving the public the full contamination results.

And if one ownership network controls the testing houses, where do you go for a fair test?

You might think you are getting results from three different independent labs. But in reality, you may be getting results from BLACKROCK, the same hidden ownership structure behind all of them.

Spoke to a doctor in America. He suspect the forced folic acid in UK flour (which will force it into breads as well as all baked goods) is a signal that the UK is most likely going to restrict meat in 2027.

If people eat less red meat, they get less vitamin B12. Animal foods are the main natural sources. Even the NHS says people who do not regularly eat those foods can become B12 deficient.

B12 deficiency can affect the nervous system.

Folic acid can mask the blood warning sign. But folic acid does not fix the B12 deficiency. The person can still be short of B12. And the nerve damage will continue, undetected.

Is the UK really trying to hide the nerve damage it's going to cause when it restricts animal products?

The UK says folic-acid flour fortification may prevent about 200 neural tube defect cases a year. But this is not risk-free arithmetic: the cancer question was serious enough for SACN to produce a formal report on folic acid and colorectal cancer risk, the World Cancer Research Fund notes that earlier UK concerns included possible increased colon-cancer risk, and a BMJ report noted evidence that doses above 1mg a day may increase the risk of multiple or advanced adenomas. The Government is therefore not choosing between 200 babies and no downside. It is choosing to medicate flour eaten by tens of millions while accepting unresolved concerns around cancer, B12 masking, and mass exposure without individual consent.

Spoke to someone in America who said people is his area have organised themselves enough to "swap" DVDs, books, games and other entertainment on the weekends, like as if Blockbuster was now in everyone's garage. He said people are getting offline and conserving resources for "what's coming" as the "writing is on the wall" in America. Incredibly interesting and creative. No money exchanges hands, as items are only "borrowed and returned" with no exchange of ownership or cash. He said it's legal in America. Can't tax items that are just borrowed between friends.

Facewatch is a private facial-recognition surveillance system used by shops and other businesses. Cameras scan people entering a premises, compare their faces against a private watchlist of alleged “subjects of interest,” and send an alert to staff if the system thinks there is a match.

The privacy problem is that everyone entering is scanned, including innocent customers. It turns ordinary shopping into biometric screening. Faces are not just CCTV images; they are biometric identifiers. The ICO says facial recognition used to uniquely identify someone involves biometric data, which is special-category personal data under UK data protection law. That means it is not ordinary shop security. It is a much more serious intrusion.

Why it can violate privacy:

It scans people who have done nothing wrong.
It creates or uses watchlists outside the courts.
A person may be flagged, followed, challenged or removed without knowing why.
Mistakes can publicly humiliate innocent people.
The system spreads suspicion between shops and areas.
It normalises biometric ID checks for everyday life.

Publicly reported or confirmed UK users include:

Sainsbury’s — trialled Facewatch and is now reported to be expanding it to many more stores.

Southern Co-op — Big Brother Watch says Southern Co-op has used live facial recognition since 2021 in stores across parts of southern England.

Home Bargains — Facewatch’s own site quotes Home Bargains’ head of central operations endorsing it; the Guardian has also reported Home Bargains use.

B&M — reported by the Guardian as using Facewatch.

Sports Direct — reported by Sky, the Guardian and Big Brother Watch as a Facewatch user.

Flannels — reported by Big Brother Watch and the Guardian as using Facewatch-type systems.

House of Fraser / Frasers Group brands — The Grocer reported Facewatch counts Frasers Group among users, including Flannels, House of Fraser and Sports Direct.

Budgens — reported by Sky and other coverage as a Facewatch user.

Morrisons Daily — named by Big Brother Watch in reporting about retailers using Facewatch.

Costcutter — reported by The Guardian as having used similar Facewatch technology.

Farmfoods — reported by the Guardian as using Facewatch.

Spar — reported by the Guardian as using Facewatch.

Iceland — reported by The Grocer as trialling Facewatch technology.

For sports venues, pubs, bars, nightclubs and casinos, facial recognition is reported as spreading in those sectors.

Not all businesses are admitting to using the technology and there is no master list.

One morning the card stops working.

You call the bank. The voice is polite and tells you nothing. The account is closed. No, they cannot say why. No, there is no one you can be transferred to who can.

Your balance will be mailed to you. The relationship is over. That is the entire conversation, and you will replay it trying to find the part where you did something wrong.

You did not do anything wrong. And the bank that just erased you is forbidden by federal law from telling you what set it off.

This is the half of the surveillance machine nobody argues about. Everyone fights about the watching. Almost no one asks what the watching is wired to. It is wired to a switch that can turn a person off.

Move money in amounts near $10,000 and a clerk files a report on you. Do it a few more times, sometimes as few as just 3, and you are marked high risk inside a system you are not allowed to see. Federal examiners start leaning on your bank, asking why you are still a customer. Your bank runs the numbers.

Keep you, and risk hundreds of millions in fines if you ever turn out to be guilty of anything. Close you, and risk nothing. Every incentive in the building points at the same door. They walk you through it and lock it behind you.

Losing one bank sounds survivable. But the mark that closed one account follows you to the next. No paycheck that clears. No rent that posts. No card that moves. A person can be removed from the entire economy over a suspicion he is never shown, with no trial behind it and no notice in front of it.

When the government wants a specific target gone, it skips the courts entirely. "Operation Choke Point" pressured regulators to strangle disfavored businesses. The FDIC mailed banks quiet letters telling them to pause all cryptocurrency activity, which everyone receiving them read as a kill order.

New York pushed every bank and insurer in the state to drop the NRA. When Coinbase sued to drag those letters into daylight, the government handed back pages blacked out so completely that a federal judge called the redactions almost laughable.

Even then, you are told nothing.

Keep cash. Keep gold. Keep Bitcoin. Keep anything they cannot switch off. And understand that the file deciding your access already exists, in an office you will never enter, with your name in it that you are not permitted to read.
