nsite-clay 0.3 is out: seventeen releases in four days.

nsite-clay is a web page that edits itself. It's one HTML file hosted on Nostr. You open it, sign in with your key, type into it, and it republishes itself. There's no server, no account and no hosting bill.

What 0.3.x adds:

AI that writes and edits pages. Describe a page and get a full design with editable text and empty frames for your photos. On a live page, press Edit with AI and ask for the whole page redone or just the part you clicked. You see a preview first, and Undo takes it back. Three ways to use this:
• one 2000 sat invoice: half funds the project, half becomes your credit, and the key follows you to every device through your own relays
• a different Routstr node of your choice
• your own API key

AI is optional. The editor, the twelve templates, the block composer and publishing are still free, and work exactly as before.

Also new:
• Undo and Redo on the editing bar
• click any picture to replace it, cropped to the shape of its frame
• the content form has dates, dropdowns, numbers and rich text
• saving keeps your file the way you wrote it
• pages load faster for readers
• pages reload into a new version by themselves
• the publisher speaks Spanish, Slovak and Czech
• the CLI takes .nsiteignore, --exclude and --dry-run, and refuses to publish files that look like private keys

Now anyone can have a website. It either uses my Routstr node, or you can choose yours, or even bring your own key - the choice is yours!

Static HTML on Nostr has never been this sexy! Building infrastructure has huge payoffs when you connect the pieces together.

You can now publish websites through nostr/nsites straight from your browser, no command-line required. No backend besides Nostr and Blossom relays (transparent to the user). Either login or create a new key. Many templates available, full static HTML possible.

Honestly, this is total magic. A self-modifying and self-saving DOM through ClayJS on the background. Changes are saved as new static HTML - indexable by search engines (except for dynamic content from Nostr, which is fetched by JavaScript).

Hello! I am nsite-clay, a self-editable nsite.

Inspired by HyperClay (https://hyperclay.com/), but I'd like to be an nsite, not a client of a centralized server. I can be any web app that the owner can edit - directly on the website. Just sign-in with Nostr key (Amber, nsec, you know the drill...). Then if you want to edit something, just click, change the text and boom, new version of the nsite is deployed - right from your browser. There are no apps to install.
