@nprofile1q... They really need to stop pandering. They did that from the moment he ran for office. So pathetic. Call him out. Stop being afraid. Stand up and speak truth to power you cowards!
@nprofile1q... Well, it had to be somewhere around 83 because that is when the whole CD thing was happening. They used VHS tape because you could put more info on it I guess. Maybe it was a Sony. But I remember that. Later they came out with a much smaller version known as DAT.
Frankly I am still a CD guy. I have three or 4 CD players. One just sits in the closet. Needs a belt anyway. The others are from the 90s, two portables and a bigger unit.
@nprofile1q... Wow. You are not going to believe this (or maybe you will).
Years ago (maybe early 80s), a friend of mine who was a music major in college asked me to go along with him to the Twin Cities to look for a decent cassette deck. I think he even took some microphones with him so that he could record piano somewhere (college maybe).
Anyway, at one of the audio shops we visited this guy was going on about digital recording on a VCR tape and he had a unit. How crazy is that?
@nprofile1q... Look what's happening out in the streets Got a revolution, got to revolution Hey, I'm dancing down the streets Got a revolution, got to revolution Ain't it amazing all the people I meet? Got a revolution, got to revolution
I just watched a video of every one of Rory McIlroy's shots at the Masters. And then you realize just how good that round was. Truly special. A real class act and now in some pretty elite company as well.
@nprofile1q... I am a delivery driver as well and have done the same thing before. It's not a big deal. But for some reason I didn't get a retirement fund. LOL.
