Maybe I write it to the nm mm mailing lists.

I am not sure how big the demand is.

4g/5g Modems (except the built-in) are very unpopular.
I personally don't miss CLAT at Linux.
Personal Wi-Fi hotspots by smartphones provide dualstack and IPv6-mostly. Maybe. So for most people the situation is ok.

I know, but I don't think it's a good idea.
Imo clat itself should be deprecated.
It conflicts with the IPv6-only patch for Linux and other OS.
It has had its chance for more than 12 years. Instead we repair NAT64 gateways for the horror encapsulation of WiFi-calls and other things.

Has anyone tested, if CLAT starts in combination of nm+mm+mobile+ISP with IPv6-only (Telekom, EE, Bouygues)?

Iirc that still depends on RFC 7050.

I wrote already why. It's is only a dev problem.
I installed NetworkManager with the default (for dev) under /usr/local/
Then the NetworkManager writes the system connections to /usr/local/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/

Do you you see the problem now?

In case of trouble, it's hard to find: candidates are directory flags/ownership, apparmor/selinux, polkit, systemd ....

ProtectSystem=true makes no sense, if installed under /usr/local/(etc)
