@nprofile1q... If I recall correctly this is caused due to a SSL certificate change. This was fixable on a 2017 MacBook Pro with the terminal, I cannot recall exactly what I did though. Very stupid.

@nprofile1q... Mine accounts for daylight in the US but it requires an active connection to OnStar's servers. Once I removed the fuse for OnStar so it can't talk out, it stopped automatically changing lol.

@nprofile1q... Lol duhh yeah you were talking about with it plugged in... I'm not sure I've seen it behave quite like that, usually any display works. Maybe your TV somehow takes too long to initalize?

@nprofile1q... My guess is the firmware does a check for the display and requires it to be present for it to post. Possibly you could just put a fake cable in? I do not know fully how it gets detected, so perhaps there's a board in the panel, you might need that and just store it inside the chromebook. I'd be curious to know if this is adjustable if you were to custom build Mr Chromebox, or if this is a limitation even farther down the line.
