Mine is in our carport, open to anyone who drives past, with a glowing blue light that I wish I could turn off. I have a (not very visible) camera. Nobody has tried to charge their car.

My charger came with two plastic cards which you have to wave close to the charger to start the electricity flowing. I turned that “feature” off within ten minutes.
