Why do you still have X? If you want to advocate about privacy do it from your website/podcast/wherever you can keep your privacy. If you deliver quality stuff people will fins you anyway.

By keeping your account you are justifying the existence of X's business model.

But the truth is that, below the surface, we still need X to gain popularity asap. And this is the original sin.
Find the courage and get rid of it.

The answer is simple. Privacy is only a sellng point for him. He uses it to fool people and make audience. He is just opportunistic guy like many in the internet and in real life.

Who pays for VPN to use it on daily basis? Idiots who don't trust ISP but trust unconditionally VPN provider who knows everything about their traffic. There is Tor, not great but much better when it comes to privacy. FOR FREE.
