Decentralized music / valueverse/ v4v music ecosystem etc - however you wanna call it is way more than Nostr and Fountain. It all started around 2020 thanks to Adam Curry & Dave Jones with Podcasting 2.0: open-source moment with RSS roots. Over years it started "serving" musicians tired of the legacy system (which yes sucks their blood like a vampire). It's still niche in a way but not too small and sure not missing maaaassssny talented artists. Hopefully you can discover some through our website (note: we only list those that are on Nostr and still have many names to add, but the whole space is waaaaaay bigger than that, you'll see while exploring the topic and hopefully getting your new favourite stuff 🎉).
