What inspires people to build tools like Spark, where chainanalysis and surveillance seem like the top priorities?

I’ve been anti Spark since I learned David Marcus was involved.

He created Diem (crytpoe for Facebook) and wants everyone to forget about it.

Never trust David Marcus: Old school, parasite, scammer, low integrity, sell-out, gainz ideologist.

I don't understand how people can give a pass to David Marcus. They probably don't know how compromised he is. Spark is a convenience tradeoff (for devs especially) but yes, it stinks.
