My daughter has been making youtube videos for a little while. Just recently she has been making and editing Katseye videos and she started getting a few thousand views a video (they must be popular? I'm old 😂)

So I said I'd set her up with some ways for people to tip her, including a lightning address on her channel and videos.
Once she heard I was mentioning it on Nostr she yelled "tell them I need money for a gaming set up and Macca's!"

We've made a mistake with it, or fallen into the trap set for us.
I'm certainly deliberately going analog more and more, reading more, getting outside, working on myself as a whole.
As someone who lived for half my life pre-internet, and who sees the results of kids on devices constantly, I really fear where we are headed.

Don't y'all just go to Niseko these days? Or Whistler? 20 years ago Niseko was purely Japanese (and me, the lone canuck in the hot spring barely covering my manhood with the little rag). Now it's all loud Aussies and Kiwis.
