Mastodon, Nostr, and Bluesky have each (unfortunately) predominantly attracted a specific subculture. Filter-bubble fragmentation. Threads by Instagram probably has the best bet at wide appeal. Classic Zuck too. And I hate it. We need open protocols to win this round.

Yes, most people know he’s supported both protocols. The complaints about the architecture and design of Bluesky have nothing to do with who is funding the project.

I complain and want it to succeed.

The “Maxi” put down is low effort and low IQ.
