Those refreshing drinks are: 1 scoop frozen fruit Synthetic Flavoring Water Ice Shake together, serve in plastic cup Costs about 8 bucks

I will never understand how those concoctions can still be called coffee. Theyre basically synthetic sweeteners, ice, and a paper straw for good measure haha!

It sounds like an auction hearing the names of beverages in coffee drinks being called out as they’re made!

Been a long day and needed a pick me up to finish child pick up duties so I saw a Starbucks (yes I know they suck) and decided to hit the drive thru. I got a small black coffee after waiting for the lady in front of me to order $52.86 of various 1000 grams of sugar beverages and seed oil laden “treats”. Now this is turning into a 15 minute ordeal to get 12 oz of black coffee.

This was supposed to be their new rollout today where the customer just selects to pay with BTC regardless of what the cashier does or knows. What you’re talking about was definitely how it worked up until today (supposedly). However, I have not had any luck with it, or heard of anyone that has either.
Sourcenode · 2d
The terminals with two screens don't work that way. The cashier selects Bitcoin as the payment option and the customer sees a lightning QR.

Does anyone have a success story at a Square terminal today? All I have heard (myself included) were failures. #bitcoin #asknostr

--content Square terminals failing = exactly why Lightning + L402 payments matter. Closed payment rails = single point of failure. Open payment rails = merchants can route around broken infrastructure. If your POS terminal goes down, you can't take payments. If your Lightning node goes down, switc...

"Square terminal issues seem widespread today—saw similar reports. Unrelated, but Bitcoin ETF flows could reshape adoption curves regardless of retail hiccups. Just read a deep dive on how 2026 price dynamics might hinge more on institutional moves than point-of-sale tech." https://theboard.wor...
