@Spectral Activity How was your weekend? Lol. Do you know anything about Asturias? I googled something today and there was a result from the "ast" subdomain of wikipedia, written in Asturian. I had never heard of it until today.
Gas prices must not be high enough. Long drive today. Traffic is crazy on 95, especially going north. Did all the yankees go south for juneteenth? Thank goodness for the #MMO show
In the same way that you should thank Putin for preventing covid infinity. We should all be thanking the inventors of ozempic for cutting the (diabetic) legs out from under the nascent fattie-communism movement
@nprofile1q... On the point of no movies being made about the topic. I saw something recently that mentioned the "Hays Code" in passing and I was surprised to see that it prohibited "white slavery" in movies. A couple sources say that was mostly because of the sexual aspect. I was surprised to see on the wiki when I went to get this link that it was apparently already barred 'pre-code' in 1927. So it was explicitly not allowed for the first 40 years of cinema in the US.
@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... There is an upward force from buoyancy but it's internal to the container, it shouldn't affect the balance. Just imagine that side without the seesaw. Water pushing on the ball cannot lift the container. That's like pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.
