What's your email provider?
For messaging I was once deep connection with xmpp/jabber but over time... Things change.
I WOULD prefer xmpp but the truth is: signal is my main messenger, but I'm not afraid to use just everything: deltaChat, jabber, signal, SMS/RTS, telegram, threema, WhatsApp... I am using anything (and so I am somehow independent if one of them blocks me or disappears)

Also ich verstehe die Verärgerung über deine Freunde, aber eigentlich sind es noch mehr die Läden, die hier versagen oder?
Mir fällt das auch häufig auf, wie oft Toiletten irgendwo im Keller (oder sonst auf einer anderen Etage) sind… meine Güte ist das 'ne dumme Idee.
Apropos "Barrierefreiheit hilft allen". Alles was weniger Stufen erfordert ist auch mit z.B. Kinderwagen nützlich!

Ich kann deinen Gedankengang nachvollziehen, aber so viel Kontrolle seitens des Herstellers führt eben auch zu Abhängigkeit von eben dem. Was problematisch wird, wenn der mal andere Interessen hat als du oder der Hersteller aufhört zu existieren oder keine Lust mehr hat die alten Komponenten zu pflegen oder aus politischen Gründen dich wie einen Dieb behandelt oder behandeln muss.
Also eigentlich müssen all diese Feature in die Hand des Besitzers.

Yah I remember yesterday I rebooted the machine which creates the GIFs and probably forgot to mount the harddrive erm I mean the bluray-player with the full episodes.
In theory that means it can still create AI-gifs

Ich weiß ja nicht, was ihr so wiegt, aber 83kg pro Person ist jetzt nicht unheard.
Ich kenne Leute die wiegen 65 und ich kenne Leute die wiegen 165.
Mir kommt 83 ganz realistisch vor (wie im OP geschrieben), ich bin relevant schwerer (eher so 93/94 ich wog aber schon mal 107)
