So I had a delightful experience today. I had a stent in my kidney’s ureter. That’s the tube running from kidney to bladder. Removal is simple.
They grab you by the dick, stick a catheter with a camera up it, through your bladder and into the kidney.
Such a delightful experience. Especially since he had 2 other doctor trainees with him.

Embarrassing fact about me:
I wear a mask when I’m in public. Doctor’s orders for 6 weeks.

Does it do any good? No
Why do you do it? I’m being a rule follower so I can be released from care asap.

There are immigration protests firing up in England today, right? Did I see something about that?

I have to drink ::minimum:: 3-4 liters of water per day for a few weeks. This encourages the kidney to work hard and become established more quickly.
All I know is I hear water sloshing when I walk.

Gentlemen, trust me when I say you don’t want a multi-day catheter sticking out of your wang.

Verdict is in- I’m guessing not guilty by insanity.

Bloodwork this morning.
They only took 10 vials today.
Day of surgery it was over 20.

I get to go home today!
I’ve had zero pain meds over the past 24 hours and before that they gave me boring Tylenol.
I’ve been walking the halls, I’m forced to use a walker because I’m walking by myself and I’m a trip hazard. My urine output has more than quintupled since surgery.
I have literally been blessed

Took a walk for about 100 feet today. Got real tired real fast.

They made me get out of bed to weigh myself. Not without drugs next time.

I made it!
My abdomen hella hurts and I’m in the hospital for a week, but I lived through it and I’m in the other side. Look out, boys, I’m on the mend and soon will be kicking ass again.
