# Sats'N'Art - Freedom Tech Art Exhibition

Sats N Arts merges the creative world of digital art with the decentralized power of Bitcoin and Nostr. By hosting an art exhibit with gamified community voting and QR-enabled zapping, the project fosters global artist-audience connections in a borderless, permissionless way.
Sats N Arts merges the creative world of digital art with the decentralized power of Bitcoin and Nostr. By hosting an art exhibit with gamified community voting and QR-enabled zapping, the project fosters global artist-audience connections in a borderless, permissionless way.

Sats N Arts was created to push the boundaries of how art is shared, appreciated, and funded. The project seeks to promote Bitcoin and Nostr adoption in the art world while fostering decentralized, borderless support for artists.

- Artists’ digital creations are transformed into physical framed exhibits with QR codes for zaps.

- Attendees and global participants scan the codes to zap artists directly.

A gamified community voting system via Geyser tracks real-time leaderboards and promotes competitive interaction.

The funds will be collected in a designated wallet and will be distributed to the artists after the event concludes on February 8th. Once the event finalizes, creators will have the option to sell their art pieces, retrieve them, or explore other arrangements for their work. This ensures transparency and flexibility for the artists while aligning with the event's goal of empowering creators through decentralized systems.


# How to vote

You vote with your sats! Any user can cast as many as 3 votes to any one project based on the sats that are sent. This allows also small sats sent to have an impact on the overall voting.

1. vote: 1,000-9,000 sats

2. votes: 10,000-99,999 sats

3. votes: 100,000 and above

INTRO
Local #Thai and #international #artists, together with the @SkateSpots (SNF) #Bitcoin #Technical #Unconference participants, will create artworks during the event. We are also seeking international Bitcoin and #Nostr Artists for the exhibition at the Weave Artisan Society in #ChiangMai, #Thailand.

Project Details
The SNF Team is seeking artists for exhibition: SATS'N'ART Freedom #Art. The exhibition features original #artwork and explores how the creation of #artstr is used to promote and create awareness of the emerging decentralized and censorship-resistant technologies (Bitcoin, #Lightning, Nostr) that will revolutionize and incentivize #freemarkets and #freespeech worldwide! Open to all mediums. Selected artists will receive an honorarium for their participation directly from the community or direct sales.

The most ⚡️zapped pieces will be displayed at the Weave Artisan Society space for one month and sales will be hosted on nostr marketplace platforms like @Plebeian Market, @Cypher and @Shopstr Markets. Artists can choose if they want to sell the art pieces or just bring them back home with them.

Artists are not expected to participate IRL at the exhibition opening at the Weave Artisan Society. Artists are responsible for the cost of transporting selected artwork and installation for exhibition that will be present at the SNF event and during the whole month afterward.

I check it out and the website: it provides minimal info, enough to understand how PlebQR provides two options: one to pay any Thailandese merchant that has a QR [PromptPay](https://www.bot.or.th/en/financial-innovation/digital-finance/digital-payment/promptpay.html) code, and two, enable anyone with the app and a thai-bank-account-mobile-app to earn some sats!

I find it fascinating, thai people need these, and I can see people adopting really fast! Let's dive into the details:
