What is the legit way to use nostr? I ask because primal app has been broken big time even through the last 3 or 4 updates. Notifications and messages are almost always in a stuck loading forever state. Even the timeline gets stuck loading all the time. And the wallet is so broken. When I click enable primal wallet nothing happens. I also tried changing it to work with my Albyhub on my node and primal app still just does nothingwhwn going through the steps to do that!

I know I'm being a bit negative, but it's been months of this, and frankly Im tired of trying to like it. I like the idea. I like the raw timeline and no ads.

But there must be a better way. This can't be happening to everyone, is it? I've set up a node(with help), I make my own rss feeds, am I just an idiot when it comes to nostr?! (Probably🤪) Send me the steps and I shall attempt to take them. Something about relays? I dono what that means. Not trying to hate on primal app, but this has just been my experience for months now

I tried this nostr thing cuz we love the team over @Fountain app, and while I see potential, I just want to know if/what I'm doing wrong, or what the deal is. Thanks!

Backup your notes, and profile. I've had success with: https://nostrsync.vercel.app/ Then login to Nostr using a different client, like Jumble (web), or for a native app, Damus, Amethyst, and Yakkihone are popular. Switch to another client like Damus or Amethyst or Nostrudel. After that, sign up for https://nostr.land and add nostr.land and aggr.nostr.land to your relay lists. You should see a significant improvement

We've been releasing our music in this decentralized way for the last 2 years with RSS thro our website https://www.doerfelverse.com/ and our music is connected to our Bitcoin node. A long with being able to listen to our music on our website via the big orange "music" button, we are on every podcasting 2.0 app and it is as decentralized as it gets.

Wavlake is not exactly decentralized, they just make and host RSS feeds and wallets on their site for music and then they also share their content to the podcasting 2.0 apps as well via podcastindex.org.

www.musicsideproject.com is a good open source tool that helps you build your own rss feed for music, then you use your own website to host it all, the you can add your stuff to the podcastindex.org manually very easily and there you have it, self hosted decentralized music for people to listen to and if they like it send Bitcoin to or value in any way you ask.

If you've not tried the fountain.fm app that's a good place to start as far as a podcasting2.0 app. www.lnbeats.com shows only the music that's all on the index. There's a bunch of great ones though! Podverse.fm podcastguru.io

There is a brand new music music app that is in beta that is very close to being released that uses the index as the database, the UI works like Spotify, but for all this decentralized music that is out there self hosted like us or via wavlake, we will blast the URL for it as soon as our friend @Sir Libre releases it to the public!

I've even commented on his videos pointing him to v4v 2.0. I'm thinking maybe he is to much apart of the machine but he's willing to speak out against it cuz he's starting to see the gatekeepers take more than he is willing to keep quiet about

He's still a slave to YouTube and I've even seen countless reaction videos to his stuff. This all drives engagement, feeds the algos and makes the advertisers and YouTube money. I can Boost but depending on where you find the track in Fountain the Boost button is a Comment button instead.
