I'm developing a new style again. Rejecting AI seductions, I've gone back to the "complex simplicity" of 60s French poster and screenprint art. Utilizing negative space, a limited palette, with handdrawn affected typography, inspiration came from music. Do you like? Let me know!

A few years back at a Manics/Suede gig in Dublin, I designed and made a couple of Manics t-shirts for myself and my buddy especially for the concert. After a rip roaring Manics' set, and somewhere during Suede - through the crowd of forty somethings, politely meandered a single man, looking like he was out for a leisurely stroll.

"Hey Jimmy!", I gestured - like a man after four pints only can. James Dean Bradfield, who 30 minutes ago, had sent ten thousand people gleefully back to the early noughties for over an hour, shook our hands like he knew us all our lives.

"Look James, I made these t-shirts especially for the gig! What d'ja think!?"

"I think you'll be hearing from my lawyer!", he giggles. "Looks great!"

He shakes my hand again and off he then trundles like some untouchable wizard, gliding through the rows of people like a cloud. It was one of the most remarkable experiences.

A salute to James. A gunslinging guitar hero who never lost who he was. Thanks for everything.
