One thing I'd like to know if you can do this nicely is coordination between heterogeneous models e.g. Opus and MiniMax/Kimi. I was using PAYG on Claude platform and Openrouter for non anthropic models. Note: I'll be moving to the Claude Max plan thanks to
@jb55 clueing me.in on that, my current spend exceed that. To reduce the amount I was paying for tasks I didn't care too much about, I would have a cheaper agent running, in a separate opencode terminal and feature branch and then use Claude or even GPT 5.4 (openrouter) to become the "senior" dev who specs out work for the "juniors". Then does code review and merges. It reduced the amount of spend greatly but is bad UX, prompts and feedback is written to files in the agents repo, would prefer a client server model via ipc, not a makeshift "sneakernet". Anyways, the irony of it makes me laugh. Models aren't safe from labour arbitrage either it seems.
