These companies keep forgetting that users are what drives value for these platforms. Going to war against your users seems like a bad business move

I think this #reddit situation really highlights the importance of open protocols. Anybody can build on #nostr and there’s not a corporate entity that can shut devs out. Also lets say @nostrich does something I don’t like, I can always take my keys to another client and not worry about losing my data.

💯 I’ve seen this a lot in my career. Some engineers will spend so much time trying to create “the best” solution that they never actually ship anything. I’m a big believer in iteration, ship a product then iterate and improve as needed.
