I was thinking about slightly different challenges where, instead of providing the name of a country you have to localize on the map the location of all PyCon conferences, or where communities are located in the world. 🌍

Do you know an Open Sources alternative of this game? Maybe one that you can configure to list only some countries (es: countries that host a PyCon, ...) to use in social activities.

Hey @nprofile1q... I'm thinking of doing exactly the same thing for a while and using a semantic classes HTML5 document directly instead of fighting with a very poor format like Markdown hoping that the generated HTML documents will be good enough 🧪

BTW Pelican can also process HTML files, reading metadata from meta tags. 👍

One feedback about performance: based on my experience, the first thing that decreases performance is poor queries or missing table indexes, it's very effective to check queries and optimize them before checking Python code, template engine or cache. ⚡

Side note: please add #Django and similar hashtags to your post to help people find your posts. 🏷️
