He’s doing a good job, you are right, I’m not aware on how expensive software project can be. Did you stop being the main contributor on the iOS version ? Maybe Its because I am not aware of how the local relay model can add to my nostr experience but I thought there would be little perks beside having the TestFlight version.
daniel has been busy with a new experimental branch that wasn't ready even for testers yet, which switches everything to the local relay model. took a bit longer than usual. we will have a new testfli...
A lot was said when the first wave of Damus Purple subscribers were about to renew (nip-05 post that has been deleted…). Since then, it feels like a dead project with onlya couple TestFlight updates. Tbh, I don’t feel like my subscription has been worth it.

Hey Purple Damus supporters! You might need to update to a new Testflight. Apple expired the old one but we've fixed it now! Thanks for everyone who alerted us of this!
Last testflight was submitted in July… You let it expired
