Just a guy wandering around, looking at things that interest me! Currently these things are Freedom, Democracy, Decentralisation, Self Sovereignty and Litecoin. (I always cheer for the underdog!)

⚡🗣 WATCH - Grant Cardone explains how Tesla’s Optimus robot will CRASH gold prices “Wait until we have 8 million or 8 billion Optimus robots and gold is at $10,000. These robots won’t be c...

Whilst it probably won't be any Optimus robots doing that sort of job, he does have a point about using automated systems to do the mining and extraction of minerals in places that humans are ill equipped to work in. Of course the best places to do that are actually off planet, some of the asteroids are believed to be very rich in various forms of metal. If humanity is going to colonise our solar system, it will be the robot probes finding and extracting the minerals first that gets us there!

When the Globalists tell you that "By 2030, you will own nothing, have no privacy and will be eating ze bugz!", having plans to be elsewhere become a lot more urgent. The EU is cooked and on the edge of starting a very nasty future as it crackdowns on every form of freedom and rights that you think you currently have. The USA is looking like it might have a better future ahead of it but only if the screaming leftists are kept out of power. Long term, the best option is getting off planet, but Elon is needing to up his game on that!

I believe it’s the time dimension that is the big probability killer. Say for example, that a civilization last for a million years. Still a pretty small timeframe. We may be made up of stardust fro...

Or we might be the first... It is unlikely but not impossible. With a sample size of one, we could be totally normal or totally abnormal in any direction. Civilisations that manage to spread, either to neighbouring planets or star systems, are more likely to either survive long enough to contact another, or spread life itself further that in turn increases the likelihood of contact happening at some point - but you are right, length of civilisations existing probably would have to be in the millions of years in order to contact any other ones. We are so early...

⚡🇬🇧 NEW - Keir Starmer on Grok: Having the ability to instruct an AI bot to undress, particularly women, online is just so grotesque and disgusting that you'd think it wouldn't be allowed. ...
Lunapilot profile picture
He thinks he has a wedge issue that low information voters who don't use AI will fixate on and save his pathetic hide. He hasn't thought of the Onlyfans girls (and probably some guys!) who use photos of themselves and tell Grok to put them in a different outfit (saving lots of money from actually buying clothes...) He hasn't thought of the people who have a tattoo, piercing or other body modification that they don't want people to know about, who use the ability to edit their own photo to make it safer. He hasn't thought about any of the positive things that the tech could be used for, he is only thinking about what he would use it for...

I once worked in a warehouse which had a consignment of shoes that for some reason couldn't be sold on, so we were told we had to make them unsellable. Company said the new shoes couldn't be given away, but they didn't care what happened to ruined ones. Needless to say, I came home with a couple of pairs that couldn't be worn in the rain, but were fine for good weather...

People like you are the reason why it took so long to move out of caves and develop civilisation. Your ancestors resisted discovering fire and the wheel, said that writing was dangerous and that the printing presses should be left to the regime. At every stage of human development, your sort has been against humanity growing into the next stage of its development. That next step is colonising the solar system and pushing our industrial development off planet. Once we have gone to the stars, you can go back to the caves if you really want, but you are not going to stop or delay us any more!
