@nprofile1q... Reminds me of the catalogue search of a German library that was unavailable at night. I once tried to extend the loan period of some books a few minutes before midnight but was unable to because I couldn’t reach the server (of course there was no meaningful error message). Guess there was a person who shut down the server every evening at the end of their late shift. (They must have changed it by now, it’s a few years ago.)
1) Tuurlijk kan ik je dat kwalijk nemen. Iemand die nooit iets gedaan heeft om ook maar betrouwbaar (laat staan democratisch) te lijken of enige berouw heeft getoond, hoef je geen tweede kans te geven. Door het wel te doen, heb je een heel jaar verspild.
2) Jullie hebben inderdaad dingen afgesproken die eerder niet konden. Ik zal je vertellen: ik vind die dingen nog steeds niet kunnen. Ze zijn namelijk nare, antidemocratische bagger. Geluk bij dit ongeluk: er is niets van terechtgekomen.

Es kommt so oft vor, dass ich mich hinhocke oder -knie, um eine Pflanze näher anzusehen und zu bestimmen. Und dann erst merke, wie hübsch und detailliert es da unten zugeht. Es ist nur ein Handyfoto, aber diese kleinen Blüten und Härchen an den Stängeln 💜
Heute war übrigens dreifacher Ehrenpreis-Tag hier: morgens Persischer Ehrenpreis und Feldehrenpreis, nachmittags dann Gamander-Ehrenpreis (hier im Bild). Ehrenpreist den Ehrenpreis!
